Mayo, 19 al 23: Recursos Naturales
Costa Rica es un continente en miniatura gracias a la variedad climática y geográfica que nos da la presencia de los océanos Atlántico y Pacífico y de las tres cordilleras volcánicas que recorren el país en toda su longitud. Es también el paraíso de biólogos y naturalistas pues la diversidad se manifiesta también en la flora y la fauna, ya que es posible encontrar todo tipo de paisajes en apenas 51 100 kilómetros cuadrados de tierra, sin tomar en cuenta las numerosas islas que enriquecen a nuestro país.
En este mes el estudiante tendrá la oportunidad de conocer sobre nuestros animales, plantas, volcanes, playas, ríos, cataratas, lagos y bosques tropicales, nubosos, lluviosos, secos y húmedos; y de comprender por qué Costa Rica es uno de los principales destinos de turismo ecológico del mundo.May 19th – 23th: Natural Resources
Costa Rica is a miniature continent thanks to the climatic and geographic variety that not only the presence of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans gives us but also the three volcanic mountain ranges that run across the length of the country. It is also a paradise for biologists and naturalists because the pronounced diversity in the flora and the fauna, since it is possible to find all type of landscapes in just 51 100 square kilometers of earth. And that is without taking into account the number of islands that enrich our country!
During this month's activity students will have the opportunity to know more about our animals, plants, volcanoes, beaches, rivers, waterfalls, lakes and tropical forests, cloud, rain, dry and humid, and to learn why Costa Rica is one of the main destinations for eco-tourism in the world.
